Trailer Out For 'Spotlight,' Movie On Boston Globe's Catholic Church Investigation

BOSTON (CBS) – The trailer for an upcoming movie about the Boston Globe's investigation into sexual abuse within the Catholic Church was released on Wednesday.

Starring Rachel McAdams, Michael Keaton, Liv Schreiber and Mark Ruffalo, "Spotlight" is scheduled to his theaters nationwide in November.

Portions of the movie were filmed in the Boston Globe offices and other parts of the city.

Scenes in the movie were also shot in Toronto.

Tom McCarthy directed the movie, which will premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September.

Spotlight won't be the only Boston-filmed movie hitting theaters this fall.

"Black Mass," starring Johnny Depp, will tell the story of notorious gangster Whitey Bulger. The movie opens in September.
