Teen On Mass. 'Most Wanted' List Arrested In Fall River

FALL RIVER (CBS/AP) --  A 16-year-old from Fall River has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in the city last summer.

Jayden Smith appeared in court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to three charges, including murder, stemming from the July 11 death of 29-year-old Jerrod Cohen.

Cohen was found shot outside his Fall River apartment building and pronounced dead at the hospital.

Smith was identified as a suspect shortly after the shooting and has been a fugitive since.

Smith was ranked at the top of Fall River Police Department's Most Wanted List and was recently added to the Massachusetts State Police Most Wanted List.

Another 16-year-old boy has already pleaded not guilty to murder in Cohen's death and is being held without bail.

Smith is also being held without bail and is due back in court in December.
