Police: Social Media Leads To Child Porn Charges For Arlington Man

ARLINGTON (CBS) – A 27-year-old Arlington man is facing child pornography charges after police traced his social media activity back to his home.

Zachary Monte is facing charges for allegedly possessing child pornography, according to Arlington Police.

Monte was arrested at his home after Arlington detectives raided it, police said.

A task force comprised of Arlington and State Police along with a forensic examiner searched Monte's computer and home, Arlington Police said. Police later interviewed Monte.

The arrest came after the Attorney General's Office notified Arlington Police that State Police had traced social media activity related to the charges back to Monte's home on Renfrew Street.
