Police Respond To Multiple Snow-Related Crashes

BOSTON (CBS) – Crashes have been reported on several Massachusetts roads Saturday as a result of snowy conditions.

The storm is expected to last throughout the day, but the heaviest portion of the storm rolled through the state in the morning.

In Southboro a tractor trailer rolled over on Interstate 90 westbound, Massachusetts State Police said.

A car also slid off of Interstate 495 North and down an embankment on the Franklin-Bellingham line.

State police urged drivers to slow down and increase stopping distance while the roads are messy.

The speed limit was reduced to 40 MPH on the Mass Pike as of Saturday morning.
