Phantom Gourmet: Great Local Ice Cream Shops

BOSTON (CBS) - Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end of summer, but it's still ice cream season.

Kimball farm in Westford, Mass. started out as a small dairy farm but now, it's a massive complex complete with mini golf, bumper boats and 50 flavors of homemade ice cream served in eye-popping portions.

For a more futuristic ice cream experience, New City Microcreamery in Hudson, Mass. specializes in locally-sourced, small batch flavors that get a quick-freeze from liquid nitrogen.

And there will be ice cream, frozen yogurt and 100 more tasty foods at the Phantom Gourmet Food Festival Saturday September 19th next to Fenway Park.
