BOSTON (CBS) - After a car accident left Jalil Mortazvi blind, he decided to travel to the United States for a chance at a new life. While people in Iran were sympathetic to his condition, he did not feel empowered by the opportunities there. In 1976, after coming to the U.S. for an eye surgery procedure that was ultimately unsuccessful in restoring his vision, he was advised to stay in the country for observation. Forty years later, Jalil says he can't imagine living anywhere else. Tune in to hear his unique story and perspective on two very different cultures.
