New Businesses Aim To Revitalize Dudley Square
BOSTON (CBS) - Business is booming again in Dudley Square in Roxbury.
Dozens of new businesses and restaurants including a new Tasty Burger are changing the landscape and generating money.
"We are so excited to be here and be a part of this growing and thriving community," Tasty Burger Co-Owner Brian Reyelt said.
Joyce Stanley is the executive director of the Dudley Square Main Streets.
She says this is all part of the much-needed $100 million revitalization project. "You come to Dudley and visit the world," Stanley said.
Now what used to be dilapidated buildings are now fully renovated and drawing new business to the community.
On Tuesday Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas was on hand for the Tasty Burger opening.
