Playground Dedicated In Honor Of Slain Yarmouth Police Officer Sean Gannon

NEW BEDFORD (CBS) – A new playground in New Bedford opened Thursday in honor of a fallen Yarmouth Police officer Sean Gannon.
The Sgt. Sean Gannon Memorial Playground sits outside Campbell Elementary School.
Gannon grew up in New Bedford.
It was built in memory of the Yarmouth K-9 officer, who was killed in the line of duty last year.
The playground opened to students Thursday morning with a special dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
