BOSTON (CBS) -- Tuesday, September 29 is National Coffee Day, and several places in the Boston area are offering a free cup of joe and other perks to coffee drinkers.
Dunkin' Donuts will be handing out free medium hot or iced cups of its Dark Roast coffee all day Tuesday.

Brooklyn Water Bagels in Framingham is offering a free "Cold Brewsta" on Tuesday, and a 12-ounce cup of hot coffee is $1 through the end of September.

Starbucks says they won't be giving away free coffee, but instead promises to plant a tree when anyone buys a bag of coffee in a Starbucks store, starting Tuesday.
