More Snow Could Greet Black Friday Shoppers

BOSTON (CBS) -- Attention Black Friday shoppers: Travel could be tricky for those heading out early to score some big deals.

Watch: Latest AccuWeather Forecast

Snow showers started springing up late Thursday night and will linger into mid-day on Friday. It's not a widespread storm, but winter weather advisories are in effect through the North Shore, Boston and the South Shore.

Locations near the coast could see three or even four inches of snow. Only a coating is expected inland.

Dropping temperatures could also mean icy spots for those hitting the roads early on Black Friday.

"Keep in mind they'll be some flakes in the air and some really slick travel in areas," WBZ-TV chief meteorologist Eric Fisher says.
