Lowell Man Charged With Causing Fatal NH Crash

SALEM, N.H. (CBS) – A Massachusetts man was arrested Friday for his role in a fatal New Hampshire crash.

Police in Salem, N.H., said Michael Gomez was arrested on Friday at 10:30 a.m. as a fugitive from justice.

Gomez was charged with negligent homicide for allegedly causing a fatal crash on Route 28 in Salem on June 16.

The Lowell resident was arraigned in Lowell District Court and waived his extradition.

Following his arraignment, Gomez was formally booked in New Hampshire on the negligent homicide charge.

Gomez, 26, was held without bail until his arraignment, which is scheduled for Monday.
