Firefighters Battle 2-Alarm Hull House Fire

HULL (CBS) -- Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at a house in Hull on Friday.

The fire broke out around 6:45 p.m. at a multi-family, two-story home on Newport Road. Hingham, Cohasset Marshfield, Scituate, and Norwell provided mutual aid.

Hull fire captain Evans says the upstairs apartment was damaged the most.

Eight-to-10 people were displaced, and Red Cross is helping those individuals.

No one was hurt.

Cohasset fire chief Robert Silvia says the fire was knocked down and the overhaul was complete by 8:40 p.m.

The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation by fire officials.
