Man Suffers Serious Injuries In Falmouth Crash

FALMOUTH (CBS) – It took firefighters over an hour to remove an injured man from his car following an early morning crash in Falmouth.

The crash was reported on Old Main Road after 1 a.m. on Saturday after a 2010 Merecedes crashed into a tree several feet off the road.

A 21-year-old North Falmouth man was trapped inside the car following the crash.

Firefighters removed the man after an extrication process that was described as "extensive."

The man was taken by MedFlight to Rhode Island Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
