Connecticut State Trooper Hurt In I-91 Crash In New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (CBS) -- A Connecticut State Trooper was hurt when their cruiser was crashed into by another vehicle on Interstate 91 early Saturday morning in New Haven.

The cruiser was stopped in the right shoulder of I-91 when the vehicle hit it around 2 a.m., according to the Connecticut State Police Facebook page.

The trooper was taken to the hospital, police say, and is expected to be OK.

The driver of the other vehicle, who hasn't been identified, was arrested. It's unclear what charges will be brought against him or her.
