Celtics @ 7: Lots Of Losing

BOSTON (CBS) - This morning's "Celtics @ 7" picked up with the C's in the midst of a 7-game losing streak and a miserable stretch that's featured 10 losses in 11 games, along with no sign of any immediate improvement. Host Adam Kaufman touched on the brutal January schedule and reviewed a narrow loss to Golden State on Friday. It's the latest in a series of disappointing failures, but there were reasons for optimism, most especially the play of Jared Sullinger, Kris Humphries, and Jeff Green. However, Kaufman has grown tired of Green's inconsistency and would like to see him moved by the February trade deadline.

Kaufman also hit on the mystery surrounding Rajon Rondo's return, given recent conflicting reports over his status. He then welcomed in Scott Souza from the MetroWest Daily News to discuss Rondo, Green, Sullinger, the road trip, and the overall state of the team.

The show's final segment brought the return of "Making the Grade" as Kaufman checked in on various college players across the country and where they currently fall as it relates to where the Celtics hope to draft come the summer.
