WEATHER BLOG: Wet Snow, Rain

A cold afternoon despite that march sunshine. The winds kept the windchill at least 10 degrees below our actual air temp. Tomorrow will start to see the clouds increase, and it might get to the 40 degree mark before precipitation arrives by evening in the form of some wet snow and rain. As night falls, so will the temperature, just enough for a period of wet snow to develop and accumulate several inches before ending by early afternoon Friday. A slushy start to the commute is likely, especially north of the city ,where it will be a bit colder than usual. We may see some sun by later in the day, as temps will rise above freezing, and most of the snow may be gone, except on the lawns. A slow warmup will begin over the weekend. More on this winter weather tomorrow, so stay tuned!
