WEATHER BLOG: Warm & Humid With Storms Possible

A string of unsettled weather is ahead due to a wave of low pressure moving east through the northern Mid-Atlantic today and tomorrow. Showers and drenching thunderstorms will be possible tonight with otherwise cloudy, warm & humid conditions. The weather will change little through Monday as the area of low pressure slows over the next couple of days. Drier air and clearer skies will move in Monday night. A large area of high pressure will then build over the eastern seaboard and maintain control of the weather through at least Thursday. The associated onshore flow will keep temps from soaring despite mostly sunny skies… that will leave us with very pleasant weather in the mid 80s.
