WEATHER BLOG: Snow Coming?

We will be entering the "snowiest" month of the year soon:

When I was in the grocery store the other day, a viewer stopped by to say hello and explained that they feel like we have gotten a slow start to winter and asked me… where's the snow? Those of you who are snow lovers may be asking the same question. Well I am here to tell you that there is hope yet… and plenty of it! Last year 36.1" of snow fell during the January-March time frame. In addition, we haven't even entered our "snowiest" month yet! February (on average) is BWI's "snowiest" month out of the entire year averaging around 8 inches. Last year, 14.2" of snow fell during the month of February alone. Will February 2015 pack a punch? It certainly could but you will have to wait and see.
