WEATHER BLOG: Happy New Year!

After the warmest December on record at BWI, a colder weather pattern is setting up. Today's official high temp was 45 at the airport. That is still 3 degrees above average for this time of year, albeit colder than what we have been dealing with recently. A dry weekend is expected with plenty of sunshine. A brief flurry will be possible on Monday, as the coldest air bottoms out on both Monday and Tuesday with highs in the 30s. Happy New Year!
