WEATHER BLOG: Cooler Air is Here

A cold front has ushered in noticeably cooler air today and a chilly area of high pressure will set up in it's wake through Sunday.

Tonight will be much cooler than past nights. We are forecasting a low of 52 degrees (just 2 degrees below average) at BWI… but some of the outlying burbs will drop into the upper 40s. The city will only drop into the upper 50s to right around 60 degrees overnight. These are the type of temperatures that allow you to open up those windows and welcome some fresh air into your house.

Sunday will really feel like fall with temps in the low 70s and mostly sunny skies. Another cold front (currently crossing the Plains) will arrive in the area later Monday night into Tuesday AM. This will bring our next best chance of rain to the region.
