WEATHER BLOG: Monday: Coldest Night Since March

A clipper-type low is not moving through the St. lawrence Valley of Quebec and will head through the Canadian Maritimes tonight.

A trailing Arctic cold front will press southward and cross our region by tomorrow morning. The front will continue to push south and away from us tomorrow afternoon. Northerly flow flow pump in the coldest air of the season so far and the chilly air mass will be well established by Monday.

Any place in the area will be fiar game for a passing flurry tomorrow as the front comes through. The worst-case scenario will be a brief, heavier snow showers… but the best chance for this will be in the mountains. Tomorrow night looks to be the coldest night that we have seen since March 7th.
