WEATHER BLOG: Clipper Moving Our Way

Hi Everyone,

Here is the bottom line..we have a "clipper" moving our way. A bit of snow will arrive by dawn. Impact on the AM commute should not be huge. Through the day intermittent snow can mix with rain at times especially in the afternoon.  A coating to around an inch is the "totals" forecast. 12 hours to get to that inch. I think we can keep up with it but the PM rush hours need to be watched.

Beyond tomorrow pretty calm weather through the weekend with temps at or above normal. ONE CAVIAT THOUGH; the European weather dudes, and dudettes, are discussing their models showing a moisture shield moving North from the Carolina's on Saturday afternoon. That could add some rain to the early weekend forecast. Doomsayers, and those wishing with all their might for some bigger event, (read snow), are wanting to ramp this thing up now. Simply put the data for that ramp up is not conclusive.

Read social media discussion with caution. I will let you know when to panic--LOL!

Have a good day folks! Make it a safe one too!
