WEATHER BLOG: Arctic Chill Coming

The weather is definitely going to be changing over the coming days.

Two arctic fronts will cross the region dropping out temperatures significantly as we tap into some of the coldest air we have seen so far this year.

The first front will move through Thursday afternoon and evening with a possible snow shower or flurry accompanying it.

Overnight lows will drop into the teens and Friday's high will likely be in the 20s.

A reinforcing front will then move through Saturday allowing for the arrival of even colder air (lows in the single digits & highs hard pressed to get out of the teens Sunday & Sunday night).

We will also have to monitor the threat for a few snow showers Saturday night as well.
