Thousands Lack Vaccination Requirements In Baltimore City Schools

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--Thousands of Baltimore City school students are at risk of being turned away from their schools next week if they don't get immunized, according to our media The Baltimore Sun.

School officials say Monday is the deadline for children of Baltimore to meet required vaccinations.

According to the Sun, roughly 3,800 immunization records were out of compliance as of Wednesday morning.

School officials said the highest levels of non-compliance were among children in kindergarten, and ninth and seventh grades.
