Swim Coach Charged With Sexually Abusing Minor

ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County Police have arrested a swim coach they say committed sex offenses against an underage girl he was coaching.

Christopher Huott, 52, of Fulton was arrested Thursday. He is charged with sex offenses and child abuse and is being held on $50,000 bond. Online court records do not list a lawyer for Huott.

Police say the alleged victim told detectives last month that Huott had engaged her in sex acts while she was a minor. Officers say Huott, who owns the Maryland Suburban Swim Club in Laurel, was her coach during that time.
