Suspect Sought in Burglary of Montgomery County Swim Club

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Montgomery County police are asking for the public's help to identify a man caught on camera breaking into the Seven Locks Swim & Tennis Club in Potomac.

On Tuesday, investigators released surveillance video and images of the suspect they said is responsible for last month's burglary.

An employee at the swim club, located in the 9900 block of Seven Locks Road, reported the break-in July 11 after noticing cash missing from the register and finding security footage of the suspect sneaking into the business.

The video, recorded about 12:48 a.m. June 27, appears to show the suspect scaling an exterior fence and walking into the pool area at the swim club. He can then be seen opening the gate to the snack bar and taking cash from the register, according to police.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call detectives at 240-773-6710. There is a reward of up to $10,000 for tips leading to his arrest and conviction.
