Suspect Charged With Grand Theft Auto, Home Burglary In Anne Arundel Co.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel County police responded to the area of South Carolina Avenue near Mountain Road, Pasadena for the report of a subject laying inside of a vehicle on the roadway.

Officials began to assist the man who immediately fled the scene on foot toward Mountain Road.

They discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen from Pennsylvania.

The suspect, James Waybe Hubbard, 45, was later found walking in a nearby area wearing different clothes, which officials say he stole after breaking into a vacant house.

He was arrested and charged with Grand theft auto and 1st and 2nd degree burglary.
