There is a continuing severe weather threat through Sunday.
"After the storms quiet down this evening, we are expecting them to ramp up after midnight, and then start popping up again Sunday afternoon, so certainly a time when you want to stay weather aware," says Meg McNamara.
Meg says temps have cooled down with help from storms.
The heat advisories have been cancelled for most of the state because of the storms that have rolled through.
