Salisbury Resident Dies In House Fire

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Investigators say a Salisbury resident died in a house fire.

The State Fire Marshal's office says in a news release that the fire broke out shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday in a one-story, single-family house.

The fire originated in the utility room of the house. Investigators did not specify where the victim was found. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The victim was taken to the Chief Medical Examiner's office in Baltimore to determine the cause of death.

Thirty firefighters spent about 25 minutes bringing the fire under control.
