Police: Crash Killed 2 Drivers In Gaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Police in Maryland are investigating a crash in which two drivers died in Gaithersburg.

Montgomery County Police say it happened Saturday around 7 p.m. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the driver of an Acura TL was on Quince Orchard Boulevard turning left onto eastbound Quince Orchard Road when a Dodge Durango hit the Acura.

The driver of the Acura was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Dodge was transported to a hospital where he died. Police say neither driver was wearing a seatbelt.

Police identified the driver of the Dodge as Jared Lee Fondren, 41, of American Fork, Utah. The driver of the Acura was identified as Bok Sun Kim, 67, of Gaithersburg.
