Police: 1 Dead After Shootings In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Police say one man is dead and another injured after two shootings in Baltimore.

Police say the first shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday in the 4700 block of Liberty Heights. Police arriving on scene found a man with a gunshot wound to the head. Police say the man was taken to a hospital but died of his injuries. Police say they believe the suspect in the shooting fled on foot. Police identified the man as 25-year-old Ronald Brown.

Police say they were called to the scene of the second shooting at W. Pratt Street and S. Payson Street just before 9 a.m. Saturday. Police say they found a man shot in the foot. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
