Frederick Co. Burn Ban Extended Due To Forecasts

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- The Frederick County Fire Marshal's Office says it's extending a ban on outdoor burning.

The agency cites gusty winds, low humidity and dry tinder conditions for the extension through Friday afternoon.

The ban was issued Thursday and initially was set to expire Friday morning. It applies to all outdoor burning, including recreational fires.
