ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Gov. Martin O'Malley plans to make an announcement about Maryland's education system in a videoconference with students.

On Tuesday morning, O'Malley will talk with the students by Skype or Google Hangout, said Nina Smith, the governor's press secretary. The office is not announcing which students he'll talk with or other details about what he'll say.

The videoconference is set for 10:30 a.m. in the Governor's Reception Room of the State House in Annapolis.
