Officials Identify 3 Killed In Crisfield House Fire

CRISFIELD, Md. (AP) — Maryland fire officials are identifying the three people killed in an accidental fire in a Crisfield home.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal said in a statement Monday that 44-year-old Jennifer Cooper, 16-year-old Angelina Pinkston and a 5-month-old Kaiden Pace all died from smoke inhalation and burns in Saturday's fire.

Sharon Raimondo tells WMDT-TV (http://bit.ly/2dV50Wx ) that her daughter, Cooper, her 16-year-old granddaughter and the infant they were caring for never made it out.

The fire marshal's office says the fire was accidental and they blame a failure in an electrical receptacle behind a living room sofa for the blaze. Officials say no smoke detectors were found in the 2 ½-story, wood-frame home. Damage estimates to the structure and contents are $80,000.
