Md. Boy Hospitalized After Being Shot With Arrow
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (AP) -- Calvert County police say a 12-year-old boy is in the hospital after his friend accidentally shot him with an arrow.
WUSA-TV reports (http://on.wusa9.com/1AcjIXv ) that deputies responded to a house on Valley Lee Court in Prince Frederick just before noon on Thursday for a report of an accidental injury. When deputies arrived they found a 12-year-old boy with an arrow impaled in his leg.
Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that the boy had been playing with a friend who accidentally shot him with an arrow.
Police say the boy was taken by helicopter to Children's Hospital. Police say he is in stable condition.
