May Day Protesters Detained By Baltimore Police

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A handful of May Day protesters were detained by the Baltimore Police Department.

It is unknown why exactly they were detained, but three or four protesters who were sitting next to a large poster in the middle of the street in the 400 block of S. Gay St., were taken into custody Monday evening.

Dozens of protesters were there, before making their way to Baltimore City Hall.

Police blocked off the street during the protest.
