Man Arrested After Chase From W.Va. To Md.

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say they've arrested a Pennsylvania man who led officers on a chase from West Virginia into Maryland.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says West Virginia state police tried to pull over the man early Sunday morning. But authorities say the man didn't stop and drove his pickup truck into Maryland. Police haven't released the man's name.

A Washington County deputy also tried to pull over the man, but he continued to flee. Police used spike strips to slow down the truck, which finally came to a stop in Hagerstown.

Police haven't said why the man was fleeing.
