Job Creation Plan Scheduled To Be Announced In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Federal and local officials are scheduled to announce a plan to try to create more jobs in Baltimore.

U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development Jay Williams is joining Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake on Friday for the announcement.

Also attending will be Rep. John Sarbanes and Marc Morial, president of the National Urban League.

The announcement relates to supporting entrepreneurship in the city.
