Jeremy Conn: O's Not Looking Up Anymore

The Orioles are in first place in the AL East, and it feels damn good. I wrote a blog a few weeks back, where I said they were the best team in the AL East and that I believed they would make a run and eventually win the division. It's still early but you have to be impressed with the way they are currently playing and Jonathon Schoop will be back shortly.

The Orioles have won 18 of the last 23 games (a league best since June 4th) and have the Texas Rangers coming into Camden Yards. If they keep winning series then by the All Star break this team could have a nice lead in the division. The one thing that can clearly change the landscape of the division is if someone makes a big trade. The Yankees and Blue Jays are the 2 most likely candidates in my opinion.
