Howard Co. Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A Howard County man has been arrested on child pornography related charges.

According to Maryland State Police, 24-year-old Robert Perry, of Glenwood, Maryland, is facing one count of possession of child porn and one count of distributing child porn in connection to an investigation with the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force .

Earlier this year detectives launched an investigation pertaining to the potential distribution of child porn over the internet.

As a result of that investigation, Perry's home was searched on Monday where police say they seized various digital media storage devices.

Perry was transported to the Howard County Central Booking for processing and a hearing before a District Court commissioner.
