Gov.-elect Hogan Postpones Cabinet Announcements

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Gov.-elect Larry Hogan has postponed an announcement on cabinet positions due to snow.

Hogan, a Republican, has been announcing advisers and cabinet picks for the past month.

Some key posts remain to be filled. They include budget secretary and transportation secretary. Hogan also has yet to announce who will be the secretary of the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development.

He already has named people to some major posts, including health secretary and secretary of the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.

Hogan takes office Jan. 21.
