Five Charged With Handgun Violation and Marijuana Possession
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- Five people were arrested and charged for handgun violations and possession of marijuana Monday.
After receiving a call about a man with a handgun on June 7, officers arrived in the 100 block of Sloan Drive in Glen Burnie to investigate. They noticed a suspicious Dodge Avenger just before 3 a.m.
A K-9 officer searched the car after finding a small bag of marijuana outside of the vehicle.
The officers found an H & R .32 caliber revolver in the passenger side floor board and another small amount of marijuana.
The five suspects include Eric Landre Newton, 24, Jvonte D. Guthery, 22, Danielle Nicole Bowen, 21, Miranda L. Chase, 22, and Chad E. Hicks Jr., 23.
