Firefighters Rescue 1 From Mt. Clare House Fire

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- City firefighters rescued a resident from a burning home in Baltimore's Mount Clare neighborhood early Monday morning.

Crews were called to the scene of a house fire, located in the 300 block of South Stricker Street, about 1:45 a.m., spotted fire on the second floor of a three-story home, according to the fire department.

Firefighters got inside and pulled one person out of the home. They were able to get the flames under control by 2:13 a.m.

Just one family was displaced by the blaze, which is under investigation, according to the fire department.

No one was hurt.
