I-83 Ramp Reopened After Fatal Car Accident

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 45-year-old Pennsylvania woman was killed Friday morning in a single-vehicle collision.

According to the Maryland State Police, Lynn Marie Rumney was driving northbound on I-83 and took the Warren Road ramp around 9 a.m.

For unknown reasons, her dark-colored Nissan XTerra traveled to the left side of the roadway and although she was able to regain control, she over corrected - launching her vehicle into a roll.

The car flipped over the guardrail and she was ejected.

Rumney, of Hanover, Pa. was the only person in the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police continue to investigate the accident and ask anyone with information to call 410-780-2700.
