Black Bear Spotted Near Oak Ridge Park

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—Authorities in Montgomery County are cautioning residents after multiple reports of a black bear near Oak Ridge Park in Damascus.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) say that the sightings in suburban areas are not that uncommon this time of year.

Residents are urged not to approach or feed the bears.
