Baltimore City School Board Extends CEO Sonja Santelises' Contract

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Baltimore City School Board voted to approve another four-year contract for Chief Executive Officer Sonja Santelises.

She's credited for leading the city school system through a period of rising test scores and stability.

Santelises is only the second CEO in the past 23 years to be offered another contract.
