2 Adults, Child Fall Into Montgomery County Lake

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) -- Two adults and a child were evaluated for hypothermia after their canoe tipped over in a Montgomery County lake.

Pete Piringer, a spokesman for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, says one of the adults and the child were able to get back on the canoe before rescuers arrived Saturday. The other adult was rescued by fire crews.

Piringer says all three were experiencing some hypothermia but are fine.

The three people were in Clopper Lake, which in Seneca Creek State Park in Gaithersburg.
