Woman takes down Confederate flag at South Carolina Statehouse
For a short time, the Confederate battle flag didn't fly on the grounds of the South Carolina Statehouse after Bree Newsome climbed the flagpole and took it down. She was subsequently arrested. The flag can only be removed by a two-thirds vote in the legislature.
