Why pregnant women get sicker from the flu

Stanford University researchers say that pregnant women are more affected by the flu because their bodies produce excess immune cells which can make them feel worse. Also, a German study found that people who had secure employment were 60 percent less likely to develop asthma than people afraid of losing them.
