East cools, record highs expected in the West
While the temperatures are dropping in the Plains, Midwest, and Northeast, potential record-setting temperatures are rising in the West. Also, heavy rain has created flash flood watches from the Mexican boarder through Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. CBS Chicago station WBBM's meteorologist Megan Glaros tracks the latest.
